Evaluation and, where needed, minimally invasive treatment of ovarian cysts.

Most ovarian cysts are benign and many resolve without treatment. Assessment focuses on characterising the cyst with ultrasound and, where appropriate, blood tests and further imaging, to guide whether monitoring or surgery is the safer course. Where surgery is indicated, a minimally invasive (keyhole) approach is used wherever suitable.
