Procedure
Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis
Advanced keyhole excision of endometriosis deposits, including more complex pelvic disease.
Laparoscopic (keyhole) excision aims to remove endometriosis deposits while preserving healthy tissue. Advanced techniques may include treatment of deeper disease and, where appropriate, ureterolysis to free the ureter from surrounding tissue. The approach is planned individually based on imaging, symptoms and your goals, with a full discussion of benefits, limitations and risks beforehand.
The right approach is always individualised and discussed with you in full beforehand. To talk through your options, you can book an appointment or contact the practice.
